Vanguard of Valor Lottery Rules

How does the lottery work? You purchase one or more tickets, which goes into a pot. At the end of the lottery, the sole winner is chosen based on their ticket number. This event is open to everyone within the Vanguard of Valor Free Company.

Tickets

1 Ticket = 5,000 gil

Tickets can be purchased in multiples.

Tickets can be purchased by donating gil into the Free Company Chest.

For example, a donation of 15,000 gil will result in your character redeeming 3 tickets.

Once gil is transferred, there can be NO refunds!

Tickets will be sold on UNTIL February 13th @ 12:00 AM. Any purchases afterwards will not count towards the lottery jackpot as tickets will be assigned during that time.

Drawings

The drawing will take place on Friday, February 13th @ 8:00 PM.

Using /random in the game, people will gather at FC house to witness the drawing. The /random will be done by an FC officer and the first number rolled which is a ticket winner, is the winner of the jackpot.

3-Charlie
4-Charlie
5-Denise
6-Denise
7-Franklin
8-Peter
9-Peter

On the day of the drawing, ticket numbers will be posted on this thread with your ticket number attached. This will allow whoever is participating and hosting to see all of the ticket numbers, assignments and be able to witness the /random in real time.

*For Example –
/random is 204
/random is 75
/random is 7 – Franklin wins the jackpot!

One thing to add about the Lottery:

It will likely be a very good idea for everyone who plans on buying a ticket to send a mog mail to either Chocobro or myself indicating how many tickets you wish to purchase. This should prevent any mixups in the event any donation gets buried in the Company Chest history, not to mention providing a paper trail if anything gets messed up.
